Who this policy covers
This policy explains how 70/30 Technology Advisors LLC, trading as 70/30 Tech Advisors, handles personal information when you visit this website or contact us through its links. The website operator and contact details are listed in our Legal Notice. You can contact us about privacy at admin@7030techadvisors.com.
This policy concerns the public website. Data processing within a client project, an AI agent service or a connected business system is addressed in the relevant engagement and data processing arrangements.
Information involved in a visit
Your browser sends technical information when it requests a page or file. This can include your IP address, the requested address, the date and time, browser and device information, and a referring page where your browser supplies one. Our hosting and content delivery providers process this information to deliver files, protect the service and investigate technical problems.
The website does not provide visitor accounts or a checkout. Optional Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement are not currently active on this website. The on-page section search runs in your browser; it does not submit your search text to us.
When you contact us
When you send an email or submit an enquiry, we receive the information you choose to provide. This may include your name, business contact details, organisation and the content of your request. We use it to respond, discuss your needs and take steps towards an engagement you request.
Our contact form at /contact/ collects your name, email address, what you need help with and your message, plus your company and phone number if you choose to give them. With the form we also record the page you came from, any campaign tags in the page address (such as utm_source), a Google Ads click ID only if you have allowed advertising measurement, your browser type, and a one-way hashed version of your IP address used to limit abuse. We do not store your IP address itself.
Form submissions are stored in a database hosted by Supabase and sent by email to our team through Microsoft 365. Please avoid including passwords, access keys or sensitive client records in an initial enquiry.
Hosting and external resources
The website is hosted on Vercel. Vercel processes network requests and related technical information to provide delivery, reliability and security. Information about its services is available in Vercel's Privacy Notice.
Contact form submissions are stored with Supabase (Supabase Privacy Policy) and delivered to our inbox through Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Privacy Statement).
Some resources currently load directly from other providers:
- Google Fonts: font styles and font files are requested from Google's font servers.
- UNPKG: the Three.js library and its supporting modules are loaded for the 3D visuals.
- Layers: service-card videos and certain visual assets are loaded from api.getlayers.ai.
These requests disclose the technical information needed to retrieve a file, including your IP address, to the relevant provider. Images and logo models stored with this website are delivered through our host. Virtuo Agents is our AI-agent product line. Its linked website may offer different functionality and has notices for that service. Other external links take you to their respective providers.
Your cookie and measurement choices
We store the choices you make in the privacy panel in your browser's local storage under seventythirty_privacy_choices, for up to 180 days. The record contains your category choices, when you saved them and the version of the consent settings. It does not contain your name, email address or a unique visitor identifier. It is used to remember your decision.
Optional measurement is off until you choose to allow the relevant category. Declining does not prevent you from using the website or contacting us. You can change or withdraw a choice through . If the purposes or configured services change, we ask again. A Global Privacy Control signal keeps advertising measurement off.
If you allow the relevant category, we may record that the contact page was opened and that an enquiry was completed, so we can measure which visits and ads lead to enquiries. These events never include your message, name, email address or telephone number.
Why we process information
We use technical request information to operate and secure the website. We use enquiry information to reply to you and, where requested, prepare or carry out an engagement. Information may also need to be retained to meet applicable record-keeping duties or deal with a legal claim.
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, the relevant legal bases are our legitimate interests in operating a reliable and secure website and responding to general enquiries, steps requested before a contract or performance of a contract, and applicable legal obligations. Any optional analytics or advertising measurement uses your category-specific consent. Simply browsing this website is not treated as consent to marketing.
How long information is kept
Retention depends on the purpose of the information. Technical records follow the hosting or delivery provider's applicable service settings and security needs. Enquiry correspondence and contact form submissions are kept for handling the request, any resulting engagement and applicable legal record-keeping or claim periods. Contact form submissions that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 24 months. We delete or anonymise information under our control when it is no longer needed for those purposes.
You can ask us about the retention of a specific enquiry using the contact address above.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your personal information, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Some requests are subject to legal exceptions and proportionate identity checks.
Send requests to admin@7030techadvisors.com, with enough information to identify the relevant interaction. If we decline a request, you can ask for a review by replying to the decision or emailing the same address with the subject “Privacy request appeal.” We will handle requests and applicable appeals within the time required by law. You may also be able to complain to the privacy regulator responsible for your location. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Where applicable law provides rights to opt out of a sale of personal information, targeted advertising or certain profiling, you can exercise them through the same contact address. This website does not make automated decisions about visitors that produce legal or similarly significant effects. The current status of optional measurement is described above.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when the website's data practices change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Details about cookies and browser storage are available in our Cookie Policy.
